ABA Therapy

Our Approach to Improved Outcomes

At the Clubhouse, our mission is to offer personalized, comprehensive care for every child that we work with. Our dedicated multi-disciplinary team works closely with each family to develop treatment plans and goals that will improve each child’s quality of life.

Our approach to ABA therapy is modern and child-centric, creating a fun, engaging environment where each child can thrive. We prioritize collaboration, flexibility, and compassion; this helps ensure that each therapy session is not only effective but also motivating. Working alongside your family, our team will create a plan that’s tailor-made for your child.

What is ABA Therapy?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapy based on the science of behavior and learning. ABA Therapy uses the knowledge of how behavior works and applies to it real-world scenarios with the goal of increasing behaviors that are positive and decreasing those that are negative to better serve people for everyday life. Using the methods of direct observation, data collection, and collaboration, ABA therapy can identify the events triggering both desirable and undesirable behaviors.

Our therapists then use that information to create an individualized treatment plan that implements socially significant changes. Though ABA is known for the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, it is a widely applicable science that breaks down human behavior into measurable components and can be used to assist anyone.

How Can ABA Therapy Help Your Child?

ABA Therapy can improve critical skillsets such as independent play skills, activities of daily living, language (expressive and receptive), following directions, social skills, and more. ABA can also help with decreasing behaviors such as biting, hitting, tantrums, and other undesirable behaviors.

Building Bridges of Connection

  • We build natural bridges between home, school, and our clinics to ensure continuity of care.
  • Cross-training allows all of our disciplines to understand the language and therapy techniques of all other team members.
  • Your child’s entire team is trained on ABA strategies and continually collaborates with each other.

Connecting the Family

  • We connect children through our social learning groups. Peer interface is a powerful tool that enhances outcomes.
  • Families network through the Clubhouse experience. They share ideas and support one another in a way that only other parents can understand.
  • Knowledge is power—we provide ongoing parent workshops and training to connect caregivers with the knowledge they need to help their children grow.

What Does the Clubhouse Offer?

We know that every child is unique and there’s no one-size-fits-all treatment. That’s why our whole team collaborates on providing you and your family a place to thrive.
